DAY 1: Tirana – Peshkopi – Radomirë Village
We begin the adventure with a pick-up from Tirana International Airport or your accommodation. After a scenic 3-hour drive, we make a short stop in Peshkopi, where you’ll stretch your legs and enjoy a quick walking tour of this vibrant highland town.
From there, we continue to Radomirë, a peaceful village nestled at the foot of Mount Korab. Upon arrival, we check into the local guesthouse or hotel and enjoy a traditional Albanian dinner at a nearby restaurant. You’ll have the chance to meet local villagers and learn about their way of life in the Korab region.
Overnight in Radomirë
DAY 2: Mount Korab Hike – Return to Tirana
An early morning wake-up (around 6:00 AM) kicks off our hike to the summit of Mount Korab – the highest mountain in Albania at 2,764 meters (9,068 ft). The full hike takes around 8–9 hours, covering a 16 km trail with 1500 meters of elevation gain. This is a challenging yet rewarding experience for mountain lovers.
At the summit, you'll be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of North Macedonia and Kosovo – a rare tri-border viewpoint in the Balkans. After returning to Radomirë by approximately 4:00 PM, we begin our journey back to Tirana, arriving between 7:00–8:00 PM.
